Improvement of Heraklith production lines in Simbach, Germany
After the necessary maintenance to ensure proper functionality additional requests to the stacking line end were coming up.
Because the capacity needed to be increased, there was also a need for more flexibility for different board and pallet dimensions. Investments were made, which addressed the above issues but at the same time improved workers safety and quality of the boards by integrating the calibration equipment. The production collection data is now automated to feed the OSIPI system and automatic extraction of QA-boards from the line can be done.
The official start up took place on the 3rd of June and was celebrated by Joachim Wieltschnig (Technical Director Woodwool), Andrzej Kakol (Production Manager Simbach), Ludwig Schaffer (actual Plant Manager), Gerd Pfizenmayer (new Plant Manager, starting 1.7.2014)
