Start-up of gluing line in the Wood Wool plant in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary

Following the recent changes in Herkalith organisation in order to ensure proper split of construction and acoustic ceilings and wall system segments, Heraklith BM product range was relocated to Simbach, whereas glued elements for loft application were moved to Zalaegerszeg.

The transfer of the automatic gluing line to Zalaegerszeg plant required enlargement of the finishing area, maintenance and painting of the line and production line rearrangement. The official start-up of the first production has been held in the beginning of March 2013 in the presence of Robert Smalekker – Plant Manager, Joachim Wieltschnig – Wood Wool Technical Director, Tamas Aszody – General Manager for Hungary.

After final setting of the production of glued elements, the painting equipment and system of gluing 3-layer products is planned to be installed to ensure line effectiveness.
